Action Alert: Please Help to Save Animals Asia’s Vietnam Sanctuary

Animals Asia’s Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre faces eviction, by the Ministry of Defence, from its site in Tam Dao National Park.

Animals Asia: Stop the Eviction

It is believed the park director, Do Dinh Tien, lobbied the Ministry of Defence to evict Animals Asia so he can hand the land to Truong Giang Tam Dao Joint Stock Company which is part-owned by his daughter.  The company intends to build commercial property, including a tourist park and hotels.

The eviction would see the 104 bears rescued from the bile industry relocated – causing unimaginable physical and mental distress – and Animals Asia incur losses of more than US$2 million.

Please help Animals Asia and the bears by signing the petition and/or sending an e-mail to the Vietnamese Prime Minister.  Thank you.

  1. This threatened eviction is terrible! I hope and pray it doesn’t go through! I made my first donation to Animals Asia only a couple of weeks ago and have been following this news since it broke (saw it on Facebook).
