Action Alert: Irish Live Animal Exports

Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) has launched a new action targeting Ireland’s decision to re-start a trade in live cattle with Libya.

The journey by boat from Ireland to Libya could take 10 days – not including the journey to Waterford port and the onward journey in Libya.  Once the animals arrive at their destination, there will likely be no relief from suffering because slaughter conditions in much of North Africa are frequently inhumane.

Please support CIWF’s campaign.  Thank you.
